This position is the primary manager for all Box Office operations and Donor database management. Responsible for planning, supervising, administering and evaluating programs to generate ticket sales and reach revenue goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years relevant experience
Experience dealing with the public in a customer service role
Ability to manage an occasionally heavy workload during peak times before and during the season
Ability to prioritize workflow - and re-prioritize as organizational needs change
Experience working with databases
Excellent communication skills and well-organized
Advanced knowledge of database systems and advanced computer skills
Ability and willingness to be a team player
Knowledge of and/or interest in the performing arts/classical music a plus.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for managing all aspects of box office operations, budget, reconciling and reporting, ticket sales, group sales and receivables.
Recommend policies and promotion strategies with the goal of providing excellent customer service.
Set-up, manage and oversee concert box office including all ticket sales
Oversee concert logistics for each performance
Create systems and analyze effectiveness of operation; provide business analysis on new projects as well as post-event analysis
Manage and process subscriber renewals
Vendini box office management including map development and maintenance, season set-up, pricing,
on-line vouchers, complimentary tickets and sponsor tickets
Support events and concert activities as necessary
General office duties such as answer phones and customer service
Assist, review and proofread all outgoing printed materials including electronic mail, online events, marketing e-blasts, donor materials and event registration to ensure a strategic and unified approach between the functions and activities
Processing of donations though Donor Perfect and generating acknowledgment letters and reports
Database management of both the Vendini ticketing system and Donor Perfect including generating mailing lists and maintaining the integrity of the database
Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director
